The really odd thing is this little item from my local election campaign in 2004.
If someone happens to say "We're looking out for everyone not just No.1" I'm going to taking to my bed for the rest of the weekend. Proof, it was needed I was fighting one election ahead of everyone else!

In the 1980s the Greens were using the slogan "Other parties promise you the sun, moon and stars, only the Greens guarantee the Earth". So maybe you're a couple of elections behind! :)
That is entire possible, it could just have been in the ether. I suppose like clothing election slogans go in and out of fashion and I'm just out of synch.
